DESCRIPTION AND BASIC USE • MATCRETE® Rhino Grip™ Slip-Resistant Additive is a finely ground polymer material for addition to concrete sealers for slip resistance and fine texturing. This additive can be added into most film-forming water-based and solvent-based sealers. Rhino Grip provides improved chemical and abrasion resistance, and is more comfortable to bare feet on treated surfaces than sand or aggregate additives. The product's low density and insolubility characteristics will help reduce settling and provide optimum performance in its various applications, without changing the viscosity. When a slip-resistant surface is desired, Rhino Grip puts “bite” on concrete surfaces and is ideal around properly prepared areas where water or moisture can accumulate. This includes walkways, driveways, garage floors, patios, pool decks and other surfaces.

LIMITATIONS • Rhino Grip will increase the texturing effect of a sealer, but the addition of the slip-resistant additive should not be considered non-skid, anti-skid or non-slip.

COVERAGE • Rhino Grip is designed to be incorporated into a suitable concrete sealer. Minimum addition ratios are 3.2 oz. per gallon and 16 oz. per 5 gallons. Additional Rhino Grip can be added, depending on the desired texturing effect. Do not exceed 8 oz. per gallon.

PREPARATION • Follow surface preparation directions of sealer being applied.

APPLICATION • Stir, while slowly adding Rhino Grip to the container of sealer. The product may float at first, but once it has wet out, it will mix in easily. In thinner products, occasional stirring during application may be required to keep the particles well suspended within the coating. It is recommended that when mixing Rhino Grip into unfamiliar sealers, that a small test batch is mixed, followed by a small test application. Mix well for 5 to 10 minutes and apply with a pump-up sprayer (use proper tip for spray applications) or apply with a roller. Do not re-roll wet areas. *Some low-pressure pump-up sprayers may not be able to dispense sealers with Rhino Grip.

WARNING • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Rhino Grip is not hazardous and does not contain silica, but should be treated as a nuisance dust while incorporating it into its intended vehicle. Use with adequate ventilation. Use appropriate, properly fitted respirator protection filter apparatus and avoid breathing dust and particles. If dizziness, headache or eye watering occurs, get to fresh air; leave area immediately. In case of eye contact, flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. Do not take internally. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Close container after each use. Use protective clothing to avoid contact with skin and eyes. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet for complete health and safety information. USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION.

WARRANTY • These products are warranted to be of uniform quality with manufacturing tolerances. Since no control is exercised over their use, no warranty, express or implied, is made as to the effect of such use. Seller’s & manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to refunding the purchase price of that portion of the material proven to be defective.
